About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Adelphi Medical Staffing to find a qualified Other RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20002!

Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses or License Practical Nurse to conduct health assessments and develop and implement Individualized Health Plans for students for schools in DC. The ideal candidates will be responsible for appropriate assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, documentation and/or referral activities for students.

Requirements:

Degree

Current DC medical license

At least 2 year experience

Current CPR/First Aid/AED certificate

Responsibilities:

Provide direct skilled nursing services to students

Complete and maintain proper reports and records

Attend admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) meetings for the students

Conducting health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, to identify potential health issues that may affect a students learning or development

Maintaining accurate and confidential health records for each student

Serving as an advocate for students health needs within the school and the broader community

Other duties as assigned by the administration
