The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include but are not limited to: Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to geriatric patients Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient Plans effective administration of assigned unit Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed Admits, transfers, and/or discharges residents Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardians Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements: Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a valid license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Successful completion of one (1) year experience in a long term care facility preferred Have a knowledge of federal and state standards relating to documentation and resident assessment Have an understanding of, an affection for, and a desire to work with the elderly. xmvmafu Be able to set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Per Diem Varied Hours $45 per hour
