Job Summary and Qualifications

As Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab Nurse, you are responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures as well as care for patients having specialized radiology procedures. This includes both the prep and recovery of these patients.

You are responsible for specialized cardiac tests performed on adult as well as pediatric patients.

You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

You will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

You will record patients' medical information and vital signs and any other patient care.

You will modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

You will prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.

What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse Associate Degree At least 1 year of critical care experience REQUIRED! ICU, ER Cath Lab experience preferred but not required. Call required - must be able to get the facility within 30 mins if called in.
