Required Skills & Experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or relevant military experience 3+ years of experience in the power industry (utility substations and/or data centers) Hands-on experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and/or Gas Insulated Breakers (SF₆ systems) Experience overseeing or supporting the protection of electrical equipment Proficiency with engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, Microsoft Office Suite) Experience instructing or training in a classroom or formal learning environment

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience Familiarity with industry regulations, codes, and standards Relevant certifications or technical training Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques

Job Description The Gas Insulated Support Specialist will be a key member of the training organization, supporting the development and delivery of training programs focused on Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). This individual will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute high-quality technical training that supports operational excellence and customer success. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of CYME and GIS-related training courses under the guidance of senior engineers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define learning objectives, and ensure training quality standards are met Support troubleshooting of technical issues and assist with corrective actions as needed Stay current on industry trends, standards, and advancements in power and switchgear technologies, applying insights to continuously improve training content and delivery
