Substitute Preschool Teacher - Immediate Start

Start the 2025–2026 School Year Strong! We’re hiring multiple early childhood educators to support school districts and private preschool centers. The roles vary from mid-term substitute placements, with you working directly in a classroom Monday through Friday, supporting students and staff on a consistent, daily basis. We also have availability for our daily substitute program, where you can choose which centers / hours work best for you!

You’ll be stepping into a teaching position at a preschool site, helping to lead activities, manage the classroom, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 –5. You’ll follow the school’s curriculum and routines while collaborating with other teachers and support staff. Responsibilities: - Lead classroom routines, activities, and play-based learning - Create a warm, engaging, and safe environment for children - Dependable, collaborative, and passionate about early learning - Collaborate with staff and follow each center’s curriculum and routines - Maintain classroom organization and MN DHS licensing standards - Communicate effectively with families and staff Qualifications (Required by MN DHS): To qualify as a Lead Teacher in Minnesota, you must meet one of the following: - Option 1: 24 quarter (16 semester) credits in ECE/Child Development and 2,080 hours of

experience - Option 2: AA or BA degree in Early Childhood or related field - Option 3: CDA credential and 2,080 hours of experience - Must be at least 18 and pass MN DHS background study Nice-to-Have: - 1+ year experience in a licensed childcare or preschool - Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hmong) - Completed pediatric CPR & First Aid certification Salary Pay: $21 - $24 per hour, paid weekly. Schedule: Full-time or flexible substitute options Benefits: - Weekly pay - Paid Sick Leave - 401K (certain eligibility criteria)
