Job Summary
The
eServices Management Analyst 3
conducts analyses of Taxpayer Services eServices programs, services, policies, procedures, and processes to identify inefficiencies and improve operational effectiveness. The analyst serves as a liaison between AZDOR’s IT Section, software vendors, and internal business users, supporting both internal and external customers. The role includes compiling reports, performing complex management studies, and planning or coordinating projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze eServices programs, services, policies, procedures, and processes to identify non-value-added steps and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve routine to moderately complex issues.
Conduct quality assurance testing and data analysis to ensure system and process effectiveness.
Serve as a liaison between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Compile regular reports for management review.
Plan and coordinate projects or specialized studies as required.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of
3 years management analysis experience .
At least
1 year experience in tax-related services, administration, or regulatory compliance .
Experience in
customer service/technical support
for internal, external, and third-party customers.
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to identify problems and propose solutions.
Knowledge of business operations, contemporary business practices, and public administration principles.
Familiarity with automated information systems analysis, design, and implementation.
Proficiency with PC Windows environment, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer information systems, or related field.
Experience with
Extensible Markup Language (XML)
and
Altova XMLSpy .
Experience with
SQL (MS SQL Server Management Studio) .
Experience with
Azure DevOps .
Experience with
Quality Assurance testing .
Knowledge / Understanding
Principles and practices of public administration, planning, and management.
Operational/programmatic structures, legislation, rules, regulations, standards, and policies applicable to Taxpayer Services.
Principles of automated information systems analysis and administrative research methods.
Security & Compliance
Security clearance required.
