Prominent law firm in the Financial District is seeking a Conference Services Specialist to join their dynamic team. The Conference Services Specialist is responsible for coordinating and arranging catering and meal arrangements for firm meetings and events. This includes assisting with meeting and conference room reservations, managing catering related vendor relationships, and ordering supplies for the firm’s café. This role works closely with committee chairs and practice group leaders strategizing and planning meetings and events. Responsibilities include: Coordinate catering and meal arrangements for internal meetings and events, including ordering food and beverages ensuring that all dietary restrictions are accommodated, setting up tables and chairs, décor, and setup/tear down Plan and coordinate external events and get-togethers, including liaising with vendors, arranging venues, coordinating logistics, and ensuring events run smoothly Handle requests for additional amenities or services, such as refreshments, printing or notary services including supporting clients and guests utilizing conference space Maintain a clean and professional appearance in all conference rooms Manage relationships with catering and event space vendors Provide support and assistance to employees as needed. Special projects and other duties as needed

We are seeking candidates with 2-3+ years of related experience, a college degree, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel, outside clients, and vendors.

This position is 100% onsite.
