Job Description Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. A part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available in the Las Vegas area to provide essential healthcare services within an elementary school setting. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to support student health needs by delivering specialized diabetic care. The assignment runs from ASAP through late May 2026, focusing on morning hours Monday through Thursday. Key Responsibilities: Perform diabetic coverage including monitoring blood sugar levels and Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) checks Provide direct nursing care tailored to the needs of elementary-aged children Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with school staff and parents Ensure adherence to health protocols and emergency procedures within the school environment Qualifications: Active LPN/LVN Nurse licensure Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen as required by the school district Previous experience with pediatric diabetic care is highly desirable Work Schedule and Location: Part-time, 16 hours per week Monday through Thursday, half-day morning shifts only Assignment at a single elementary school located in the Las Vegas area Benefits of the Role: Opportunity to apply nursing skills in a school setting focused on pediatric health Supportive healthcare environment within an educational institution Contract role with a clear end date, ideal for professionals seeking short-term assignments Interested candidates who meet the licensure requirements and have experience in school nursing and diabetic care are encouraged to apply promptly to contribute to student health and well-being.
