Essential Functions The

GIS Analyst

will primarily support the Environmental Department by preparing Tier 2 environmental review maps to ensure contract compliance with the Florida State Historic Preservation Office. The role also includes completing related tasks as needed and may involve providing support to other departments within GrantWorks. This is a full‑time position focused on environmental mapping, with occasional requirements for overnight travel and field work. As needed, assist in training and sharing knowledge with GrantWorks’ staff

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Candidates must be familiar with ArcGIS, Microsoft Office Suite, Census data, and basic data management Candidates should have knowledge and expertise of ArcGIS methodology, geographic, and cartographic principles, and comprehension of projections, datums and coordinate systems. Experience with editing and working within geodatabases required Prior experience with Census data acquisition and analysis preferred
