Mechanical Drafter/Designer (Creo Modeling)- 289 (Peoria)

Candidates MUST be able to speak to modeling within CREO working within the tool is not sufficient, they need real design work and modeling experience Highly prefers sheet metal experience

Position’s Contributions to Work Group

: - Provide modeling and design support for Design Engineers in the Aftertreatment and Exhaust Systems (AT&ES) team within the Large Power Systems Division. Projects will focus on clean emissions module (CEM) design for all markets served: Electric Power, Machine, Marine, Oil and Gas, and Rail.

Typical task breakdown: - 3D modeling (Creo) based on Design Engineer guidance

Interaction with team

: - Daily, both in-person and virtual

Team Structure - Report to Engineering Manager or Team Lead

Work environment

: Office (Mossville building AC)

Education & Experience Required: -

Years of experience: 5-7 desired. Less would be considered with relevant experience -

Degree requirement: BS Engineering desired, not required -

Top 3 Skills Creo modeling and Teamcenter usage; stainless steel sheet metal design, fabrication, welding; Design for Manufacturing

Additional Technical Skills (Required) - Mechanical aptitude, problem solving, GD&T, engineering standards

(Desired) - Diesel and Gas Aftertreatment design experience, CLIENT print releasing processes

Soft Skills (Required) - Strong communication skills, collaboration, teamwork
