Design Team Lead
to guide a talented design team and deliver exceptional workplace environments for a diverse client base.

What You’ll Do
Design Leadership & Oversight
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of designers to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Manage and prioritize the design pipeline, assigning projects appropriately.
Conduct bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with team members to drive development and performance.
Review design accuracy, renderings, specifications, and OTIF reports to minimize errors and maintain high standards.
Maintain department metrics and report on performance as required.
Oversee organization of shared design files to ensure efficiency and accessibility.
Participate in hiring interviews and provide recommendations for future design team members.
Client Collaboration & Space Planning
Partner with project consultants and clients to understand requirements, budgets, employee counts, and spatial needs.
Create detailed floor plans and 3D renderings using SketchUp, CET, and AutoCAD.
Specify furniture, fabrics, and finishes that align with client culture and budget.
Apply appropriate pricing and discounts while ensuring solution accuracy.
Revise quotes and drawings promptly to keep projects on track.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Design (preferred)
Proven experience leading and developing a team
Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD (CET experience a plus)
Space planning experience strongly preferred
Advanced skills in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Professional presence with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary starting at 55 to 65k (commensurate with experience)
