direct hire, salaried position

This position will be assigned to a

brand new third shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday–Friday) . Initial training will take place on first shift for two to three months before transitioning to third shift

What You’ll Do The Production Supervisor is a hands-on leader who oversees a team of 15 employees, ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are consistently met. The role is focused on coaching, training, and motivating production teams while driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise, with accountability for safety, quality, and production. Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and ensure compliance with PPE, GMP, and safety requirements. Partner cross-functionally with Safety, Quality, Production, HR, Maintenance, and Shipping/Receiving teams. Monitor production performance, review metrics, and implement corrective actions where needed. Support employees with training, performance feedback, and corrective actions as required. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate maintenance needs. Maintain shift documentation, including safety audits, HACCP paperwork, SIMS board updates, and shift summaries. Ensure smooth handoffs with incoming supervisors and continuity of operations. Participate in monthly training sessions focused on quality, safety, and professional development.

Qualifications

Education High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Minimum

5 years of manufacturing experience . At least

5 years of leadership or supervisory experience

in a manufacturing environment (corrugated packaging experience preferred). Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced production setting.

Skills & Competencies Strong communication (oral & written) and conflict management skills. Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and make resourceful decisions. Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations. Comfortable working hands-on on the production floor. Must provide and wear steel-toed shoes or boots (provided by client).
