Treatment / Wound Care Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing and implementing all skin care and wound treatment services under the medical supervision of attending physicians and/or the facility Medical Director. Oversee all direct wound care activities to ensure consistency and compliance # Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate skin care interventions # Manage and treat specific skin disorders within established wound care protocols # Perform detailed assessment evaluations through observation and inspection # Collaborate with the Care Planning Team to develop and update resident care plans # Monitor preventive measures such as turning, positioning, and routine inspections # Precept new nurses and demonstrate wound care procedures # Order and track wound care supplies and equipment # Modify treatment regimens in accordance with medical practices and regulatory guidelines # Educate residents and caregivers on prevention techniques and skin health

&##Current /Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing # Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred # Wound care or treatment certification preferred (facility will certify the right candidate) # Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to long-term care
