Key Responsibilities:

Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Manage case files from client intake through final resolution. Prepare financial declarations and other critical case documents. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff. Schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations with precision. Assist attorneys with comprehensive trial preparation and support. Organize and maintain all case documents, evidence, and correspondence. Manage attorney calendars and case deadlines effectively.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a paralegal in family law including divorce, separation, custody etc. Demonstrated experience in a litigation setting is mandatory. Proficiency in South Carolina e-filing procedures and legal software. Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. A paralegal certificate or equivalent degree is highly preferred.
