Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer

to support the

Fighters Electronic Warfare Capability

in

The selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact to the electronic warfare customer and Boeing leadership for various programs. The candidate will maintain technical management of the project by preparing project plans and tracking status using various tools that provide metrics. It is expected that daily communication and coordination with both the customer and Boeing leadership is part of the battle rhythm. Position Responsibilities: Lead collaboration with suppliers to develop and enhance advanced electronic warfare systems, ensuring that designs meet specifications and operational requirements

Facilitate the development of comprehensive test plans to validate the performance and effectiveness of electronic warfare systems, including simulations, laboratory tests, and flight testing

Ensure that all electronic warfare systems adhere to relevant military and regulatory standards, including safety, operation, and cybersecurity requirements

Provide technical, business, and integration for the development and execution of project to team plans

Lead capability proposal activity from Request for Proposal (RFP) through submittal

Coordinate with technical leads, other program product teams, and Boeing Global Services to ensure project statement of work is executed on time

Identify and maintain day-to-day oversight of cost, schedule, and performance metrics to be briefed to leadership

Maintain working-level customer relationships

Manage and ensure deliverables are submitted on time

Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program

Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity

Mentor junior engineers and provide training on best practices in electronic warfare systems development and integration, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

14+ years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): Direct program or project management experience

Hardware engineering experience

Experience communicating with both internal and external customers

Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
