Pool Maintenance Helper / Laborer

Aquatech Management of Long Island is looking for a dependable Pool Maintenance Helper to support our experienced technicians during the busy pool season. This is a hands-on, physically active position. You’ll be assisting with pool openings and general field work—ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and not afraid of manual labor. Responsibilities - Assist technicians with pool openings and maintenance tasks - Carry and handle heavy pool covers, equipment, and materials - Power wash pool decks, covers, and surrounding areas - Help with setup and breakdown of equipment on job sites - Load and unload trucks as needed - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Follow directions and support technicians in daily tasks Requirements - Strong work ethic and reliable attendance (very important) - Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods - Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs regularly - Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Ability to take direction and work as part of a team - Valid driver’s license preferred but not required What We’re Looking For - Someone who shows up on time, every day - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Not afraid to get dirty and work hard - Team player who can support others without constant supervision What We Offer - Competitive hourly pay ($18 – $20/hr based on experience) - Consistent, full-time work during the season - Opportunity to learn the pool industry and grow into a technician role - Overtime opportunities during peak season Who This Role is For This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the trades or pool industry, or for someone who simply wants steady, physical work.
