RN Nurse Supervisor

Role: RN House Supervisor Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 Schedule: 5x8 hours, 40hrs/Week, Evenings (3:00pm-11:30pm), every other weekend + holiday availability required Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Breakdown : Blended Hourly - $57.65/hr (Taxable - $ 26.50; Non-taxable - $ 31.15) Weekly Gross - $2,306.00 (Taxable - $1,060.00; Non-taxable - $1,246.00) Job Overview: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units. Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts. Communicates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager regarding identified and potential unit problems and collaborates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Managers to resolve problems. Contacts Director of Nursing on off hours for only those critical issues requiring resolution and leaves appropriate communication at work for all other items. Requirements: Minimum one year of nurse experience in long term care + supervisory experience across multiple units Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing.
