Division Manager – Utility Infrastructure (Boston)

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee complex, high-voltage utility infrastructure programs in the Boston market.

This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who understands how to deliver complex civil + electrical infrastructure work in dense urban environments.

What This Role Involves Executive oversight of complex substation and utility infrastructure projects Leadership across civil, structural, and high-voltage electrical scopes Direct interface with utility owners and sophisticated infrastructure clients Building and mentoring high-performing project and field teams Driving operational excellence, safety, and schedule performance Contributing to long-term regional infrastructure growth initiatives

This is not a purely administrative executive role — it requires strong field credibility and operational depth.

Ideal Background We are targeting senior leaders with experience in: Utility infrastructure and substation construction Transmission & distribution (T&D) projects Heavy civil + electrical crossover environments Urban infrastructure construction High-voltage systems exposure Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) experience (strong plus)

The right candidate understands excavation, foundations, structural work, and electrical systems — and how those scopes sequence together on technically demanding sites.
