Overview
American Management Association (www.amanet.org), a world leader in talent development, is looking for a Graphic Design Intern, who will support the Creative Services team with production-level design tasks across digital and print channels. This role is focused on execution and learning within established brand standards, with clear guidance and review from senior team members.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Create social media graphics (organic and paid)
Design and update email graphics and layouts
Produce digital ad resizes and variations
Assist with production of print materials such as flyers, ads, brochures, and catalogs
Update existing print templates and layouts
Prepare print-ready files under established specifications
Update and maintain design templates across channels
Prepare and organize assets for production and handoff
Learning & Mentorship
Regular feedback from the Art Director and Graphic Designer
Exposure to real-world workflows, brand standards, and review processes
Opportunities to observe campaign development and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or related field (i.e. Commercial and Advertising Arts, Studio Arts, Marketing, Web Development, etc.)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Interest in marketing, digital and print design, and production workflows
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Applicants who live in the New York Tri-State area
Able to commute to our office in midtown New York
Ability to work
10-15 hours per week
for up to six months (may be renewed)
