Key Responsibilities Operate

XRF

and

ICP-OES

spectrometers for alloy identification and trace metal quantification. Perform equipment calibration, maintenance, and QC checks using certified reference materials (CRMs). Utilize combustion/fusion analyzers (O/N testing) to complement analytical results. Prepare metal and ceramic samples via acid digestion, fusion, or dissolution, ensuring strict contamination control. Maintain precise lab records and provide high-accuracy reporting for engineering and production teams. Monitor data trends, assist in root-cause analysis for nonconformances, and issue product certifications.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field 1+ years of experience utilizing ICP-OES or ICP-MS.
