Senior Grants & Compliance Manager Full-Time | Exempt

Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000

You’ll help shape how we budget, forecast, track, and sustain the funding that powers our Clubs.

What You’ll Do
Pre-Award Budget Strategy
Develop detailed, compliant grant budgets aligned with program design
Build salary, fringe, and cost allocation models
Assess financial feasibility and long-term sustainability
Provide strong financial narratives to support proposals
Post-Award Monitoring & Forecasting
Track budget-to-actuals and monitor burn rates
Develop monthly and quarterly financial projections
Recommend and prepare budget modifications (GANs)
Identify overspend/underspend risks early and proactively
Compliance & Financial Reporting
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and foundation requirements
Review expenditures for allowability and alignment
Oversee payroll allocations and documentation
Prepare reimbursement requests and financial reports
Maintain audit-ready grant files and documentation
Collaboration & Capacity Building
Partner with Finance, Resource Development, and Program teams
Train staff on grant compliance and budget management
Strengthen SOPs and grant management systems
What Success Looks Like
Grants are paced appropriately with no last-minute spend-down pressure
Financial risks are identified early — not after the fact
Program teams understand their budgets and funding restrictions
Reporting is timely, accurate, and audit-ready
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
4–6 years of nonprofit grants management experience
Experience managing government and foundation grants
Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of cost allocation and indirect rate methodologies
Ability to translate financial concepts to non-finance staff
