Litigation Attorney

Overview: Will train if required.

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our law firm. This role focuses on aggressively representing clients affected by deceptive, abusive, or unfair business practices, with a strong emphasis on consumer protection and solar related litigation matters.

This position involves handling arbitration proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage pre-litigation matters from pre suit through resolution, including arbitration. Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses. Conduct written discovery and take and defend depositions of parties and experts. Represent clients at mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitration hearings. Develop and execute strategic case plans designed to maximize client recovery. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel while maintaining strong and assertive advocacy. Research and apply federal and state consumer protection laws, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Truth In Lending laws, UCC-1 filings, lien avoidance, and Uniform Commercial Code related matters. Maintain detailed records utilizing Law firms CRM including regular case updates.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in any state and in good standing. 5-7 years of litigation experience preferred. Experience handling civil litigation matters through arbitration or trial preferred. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to provide aggressive, strategic representation on behalf of clients.

Job Type: Full-time Hours required: 40-45 hours a week

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year (DOE)

Work Location: In person required for Nevada residents. Remote work permitted for out of state candidates.
