Diesel Mechanic- Truck/Trailer

Mechanic Job Duties * Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks and trailers * strong attention to detail during routine services * ability to change truck and trailer tires- training available * truck and trailer service/ preventive maintenance * Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion * Ability to obtain class B or A cdl Mechanic Position Requirements * Valid Driver's License * Must posses a good work ethic, a positive attitude and be reliable * Must possess an excellent understanding of truck and trailer chassis including brakes, steering, wheel ends, lighting and electrical, heating and cooling * ability to use computer OEM diagnostic Software's * Other mechanical skills desired: Hydraulics, Manual Transmissions and drive train, automatic transmissions, welding and fabrication. * Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions Mechanic Benefits * Competitive compensation * Uniforms * Paid Medical Insurance with HSA savings account * Paid Vacation * Simple 401 (k) with company match * Insulated shop with radiant heat for winter and a cooler for summer Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off Experience: * Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Required) * Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
