General Liability Associate - AmLaw100 Defense Firm (Las Vegas)

Our client, an AmLaw 100 ranked national defense litigation firm, is seeking a General Liability Associate

to join their rapidly growing Las Vegas office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a premier litigation team handling a wide range of high‑exposure general liability matters for major corporate, insurance, and Fortune 100 clients.

The firm is seeking attorneys with 3 or more years of Insurance Defense Litigation, and have multiple practice groups covering various areas of litigation. The team is also flexible on seniority - the firm has several senior-level (Counsel, Partner, etc.) openings as well that they're happy to consider bringing on.

Role Responsibilities Independently manage a robust litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on complex legal projects across general liability, premises liability, transportation, and related areas. Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and case strategy development. Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates, evaluations, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in the State of Nevada. 3+ years of general liability, premises liability, trucking, and/or transportation defense experience. Superior written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong legal research, analytical, and litigation skills; legal project‑management experience a plus.
