Position Summary The Attorney will handle litigation and advisory matters, manage cases independently, and work closely with partners and clients to develop strategic legal solutions. This position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to take ownership of files from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities Represent clients in civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery Take and defend depositions Appear in court for hearings, motions, mediations, and trials Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Participate in case strategy discussions and trial preparation Maintain accurate billing records and meet annual billable hour expectations

Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing Two or more years of relevant legal experience preferred Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent verbal communication and client interaction abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience Civil litigation experience Insurance defense or employment law background Trial preparation experience Experience working with business or corporate clients
