Staff Engineer (Parsippany)

A multidisciplinary civil and environmental engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) to join its growing Site Civil/Land Development team in Parsippany, NJ.

This role is ideal for an engineer with 2+ years of experience who is looking to take on hands-on design responsibility and gain exposure to a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects.

Responsibilities : Prepare site civil construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D Perform grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design Assist with hydrology and hydraulic calculations Develop erosion & sediment control plans Support permitting and municipal submissions Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies Participate in project meetings and design reviews

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering EIT certification preferred (or actively pursuing licensure) 2–6 years of land development or site civil design experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Working knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater design principles Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
