Job Description:
Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery unit responsible for providing direct nursing care to mothers and newborns during the perinatal and postpartum periods in accordance with hospital guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Triage and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
Administer and monitor medications including magnesium, oxytocin, and pain management drugs.
Assist with patient transition and follow-ups in postpartum care.
Float to MSP/ED for helping hands as required.
Manage and monitor neonatal equipment such as CPAP, Bipap, and high flow systems.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery nursing experience.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
Experience with OB Trace Vue EFM System preferred.
