The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A paralegal certificate or meet the criteria outlined in Business & Professions Code sec. 6450 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation before State, Federal, Appellate Courts, and preferably administrative agencies Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple attorney calendars and active case files efficiently Proficiency in Word, WordPerfect, Essential Forms, and Outlook software Experience in preparing and proofreading legal documents and correspondence Familiarity with discovery The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team Experience researching local rules and handling court filings in various counties
