Associate Attorney (New York)

NYC Downtown personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our team. Responsibilities include: Handling court appearances, hearings, and conferences Taking and defending depositions of parties and witnesses Drafting, filing, and arguing substantive motions Managing personal injury cases through discovery and pre-trial Working closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation Gaining direct exposure to trials with the opportunity to second-chair and advance to first-chair responsibilities

Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Minimum of 3 years of personal injury or civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to manage cases with increasing independence Desire to grow as a trial attorney in a plaintiff-focused practice preferable
