Education Requirements:

Current valid RN license in North Carolina or state where services will be rendered Certifications Requirements:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team requirement); PCCN preferred; Valid Driver's License Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent cardiology or progressive care experience; Previous travel experience preferred; Experience with cardiac post-procedural care such as CABG, LVADs, Heart Transplant, AAA repair, Carotids, Thoracic Outlet Other Requirements:

Ability to float within the cardiology division and med-surg units; Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills; Titrating/non-titrating cardiac drips proficiency; Excellent teamwork and communication skills What We Offer

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients within the progressive care unit, following physician orders and facility protocols. Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and titrate cardiac drips accurately, ensuring patient stability and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including CNAs, charge nurses, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care. Assess patient condition continuously, monitor vital signs and telemetry data, and escalate concerns appropriately.
