Locum Tenens Opportunity for Emergency Medicine NP/PA Location: North Dakota (ND), near Spiritwood Shift Type: Evenings (8a-8a, 24-hour shifts) Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: Yes Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Emergency Medicine Department, with additional Hospitalist Hybrid responsibilities.

The provider should have prior hospitalist experience to be considered for this position.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within the CSH Fargo system.

Once a provider works at one of the Fargo division facilities, credentialing and acceptance to other facilities become much easier.

Summary: Daily rounds on all inpatients, including swing beds and observation patients at 0800 daily.

Responsible for ER patients presenting during the assignment period.

Address questions or concerns from local nursing homes regarding their patients.

Details: Setting: ER/Hospital (Trauma Level 5) Required procedures: Laceration repair, cardiac care Duties: ER coverage, Hospital Rounds, Nursing home concerns EMR: Meditech Support Staff: Avera eCare, Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinic providers Reason for Coverage: Medical Leave Inpatient census: 3-4 per day ER volume: Approximately 5 per day, primarily urgent care patients with occasional trauma and critical cases CHI history: 20 bed critical access hospital, xmvmafu nonprofit, part of CommonSpirit Health Patient Demographics: High Medicare population, low pediatric rate Nursing Home Consults: Required APPs permitted to admit Comfortable and knowledgeable working independently Avera-e care available for consults (TeleHealth resource) Located near SPIRITWOOD, ND If you are interested in this opportunity, please call or text MD Staff at 77
