Civil / Site Design Engineer

SUMMARY : A growing professional engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Site Project Engineer / Site Civil Engineer to support land development and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of site development initiatives while gaining exposure to engineering design, permitting processes, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare engineering designs including site layout, grading, and stormwater management systems. Assist in the design and coordination of utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control plans, landscaping, and site lighting. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis to support drainage and stormwater design. Develop and update site plans, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using design software. Support zoning approvals, land development permitting, and regulatory submissions. Conduct field inspections and site observations as needed. Assist in preparing engineering reports, design calculations, and project documentation. Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle. Support project managers in maintaining schedules, quality standards, and project deliverables. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is preferred. Familiarity with site development design, grading, and stormwater management principles. Exposure to zoning approvals, permitting processes, or land development projects is a plus. Experience with HydroCAD or similar engineering software is beneficial. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and within a team environment.
