Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in our New York office. This role is ideal for a legal support professional with solid law firm experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal teams
Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
Handle filing, document management, and records maintenance
Assist with time entry, billing support, and expense processing as needed
Communicate professionally with internal teams and external contacts
Support general office and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
1-2 years of Legal Administrative Assistant experience in a law firm environment
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document formatting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
