Job Description:
This role will serve as the engineering subject matter expert on a cross-functional team focused on developing and improving performance monitoring systems for offshore wind generation.
This individual will work directly with operations, maintenance, and data teams to ensure accurate performance visibility, identify reliability risks, and drive data-driven improvements that enhance plant availability and long-term asset performance.
This is not a pure desk-reporting role. The position requires analytical thinking, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to translate operational needs into structured performance insights and actionable improvements.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Evaluate plant performance metrics such as availability, downtime, reliability, and generation output
Support development and refinement of dashboards and performance tracking tools
Ensure accuracy and usability of performance data for O&M decision-making
Operational & Reliability Support
Work with operations and maintenance teams to investigate performance deviations
Help identify root causes of underperformance or reliability concerns
Support proactive reliability initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime
Continuous Improvement
Lead or support performance improvement initiatives
Develop structured processes to enhance long-term asset performance
Contribute to standardization of reporting, monitoring, and performance review practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the Offshore Wind O&M representative within a data product team
Translate operational requirements into system and reporting needs
Work with engineering, IT, and analytics teams to align performance tools with business objectives
Qualifications:
Must have previous experience in power generation, renewable energy, or asset performance engineering
Familiarity with plant performance metrics and reliability concepts
Exposure to data tools, dashboards, or analytics platforms
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
