Job Description
As the VP of Corporate Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, growth, and value creation within the organization. Reporting directly to CEO, you will lead transaction execution, M&A, and integration activities, partnering closely with division leaders across a lean, dynamic, and hands-on operating environment. This high-visibility role is essential in shaping the future of company during a transformative phase in the organization.
Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and execute strategic M&A transactions and partnership opportunities that align with company growth objectives.
Lead due diligence, deal structuring, financial modeling, negotiations, and post-close integration activities.
Work hand-in-hand with the CEO, founders, and business unit leaders to assess, prioritize, and operationalize strategic initiatives.
Oversee cross-functional integration across finance, HR, compliance, and operations teams for newly acquired entities.
Develop and present business cases, investment memos, and board-level presentations supporting corporate strategies.
Monitor industry trends in construction, renewable energy, and system connectivity to proactively identify growth opportunities.
Drive value creation through hands-on operational oversight and strategic problem-solving.
Support organizational transformation by leading change management and communicating strategic vision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred).
5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related services-based operating company environment.
Demonstrated track record of executing end-to-end M&A transactions (sourcing, diligence, structuring, negotiation, integration) in a services sector (ideally construction, utilities, or infrastructure).
Experience in a lean organization with hands-on leadership responsibilities.
Proven ability to work directly with business founders, division heads, and executive management.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are advantageous.
Skill Requirements

Deep understanding of transaction structuring, due diligence, and post-merger integration processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Comfort with ambiguity and leading projects with limited resources.
