has partnered with a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing and robotics company to find a Manufacturing Engineering Manager who will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and drive the integration of next-generation manufacturing technologies into production. This is a high-impact leadership role shaping how complex hardware is engineered, produced, and scaled within a highly automated, AI-driven manufacturing ecosystem. You will define manufacturing strategies, mentor engineering talent, and guide the qualification and deployment of advanced processes across high-performance automotive and aerospace programs.

They operate a large, state-of-the-art facility in Southern California with end-to-end capabilities for advanced manufacturing.
The team is innovative, mission-driven, and highly collaborative, bringing together experts across design, materials, automation, and production.
The person they are looking for should have:
A bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 or more years of experience in a leadership role within manufacturing engineering.
A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering with strong exposure to aerospace or defense environments.
A proven background in driving design-for-manufacturing, process development, and production readiness for complex hardware.
Strong proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens NX or AutoCAD and comprehensive understanding of GD&T.
Experience managing manufacturing requirements, process specifications, MES, PLM, and ERP systems.
Hands-on expertise with advanced manufacturing approaches including machining, additive manufacturing, automation, bonding, coatings, or joining.
A track record of leading complex projects from concept through production, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and quality.
Big pluses for:
A masterโs degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement background.
Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Demonstrated success in high-tech, fast-paced startup environments and a passion for transforming traditional manufacturing.
