Pediatric Social Worker – Acute Care Locations: Jackson, MS Duration: 13 Weeks with extension Shifts: Mon to Fri 5x8hrs Pay: $2550/week to 2,586/week Local Pay:$1840/week Responsibilities Provide crisis intervention for pediatric patients and families Offer grief and bereavement support Coordinate comprehensive discharge planning Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Manage caseload across multiple hospital floors Participate in team-based coverage in a fast-paced acute care setting Requirements Active Mississippi State License – REQUIRED LMSW or LCSW – REQUIRED Minimum 2 years Pediatric Acute Care Case Management experience – REQUIRED Experience in a Level 1 Children’s Hospital or high-acuity pediatric setting – HIGHLY PREFERRED Epic charting experience – REQUIRED BLS Certification – REQUIRED
