Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working onsite in Minneapolis, MN, serving students in grades 1 through 8. This position offers a .5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) schedule, ideal for professionals seeking a part-time role within a school environment.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades 1-8.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
* Track and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
* Participate in meetings related to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
* Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
* Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
* Experience working within school settings, preferably with grades 1-8.
* Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones.
* Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and school staff.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered services.
