Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Winfield, KS. This contract position runs from March 2026 through May 22, 2026, serving a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to elementary-aged students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification for school settings (SLP-CCC preferred)
Experience working in elementary schools with diverse caseloads
Strong knowledge of speech and language development in pediatric populations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs
