Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Apr 6, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/PCU position at an acute care hospital, requiring a valid MO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a 233-bed acute care hospital Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Patient ratio of 1:5-6 Epic EMR experience required Every other weekend requirement: 2 shifts (Saturday and Sunday) for day shift Floating within the Telemetry unit may be required to meet facility needs No on-call responsibilities Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements Active MO RN license or compact RN license valid in Missouri required at time of consideration; IL candidates may apply with a pending IL license Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of RN telemetry/PCU experience required Epic EMR experience required Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Navy scrubs are required Free parking is available on-site RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required American Traveler Job ID #P-685349.
