Faculty Supervisor

Responsibilities include but are not limited to observing and mentoring teacher candidates in field experience and student teaching; coordinating with cooperating teachers; engaging in training and meetings for your role. We seek to hire individuals who are interested in teaching and/or supporting clinical supervision throughout the program. If teaching is part of the job responsibilities, clinical supervisors are required to use the syllabi already developed as part of the overall program design. This position is based on campus. Per UMN policy, work may be done remotely when appropriate and approved by your manager. Job Responsibilities. Student Teaching Supervision of Teacher Candidates (60%)Observe and mentor each student teacher (teacher candidate) for 12 weeks during Spring semester, as assigned by the program.
