Mechanical Engineering Intern - Buildings (Summer 2026)

Learning begins in the classroom but theres no better place to gain real-world experience than with Stantec. Interns are an integral part of our teams, working to solve some of the world's most complex challenges. As a Mechanical Intern (Co-Op), you will work with close guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the direction of a Senior Mechanical Engineer. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include Revit design, calculations, and field work. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken mechanical engineering design type courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to develop industry experience with an opportunity for a full-time position upon graduation.
