Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Michigan to support students in a center-based educational setting serving individuals aged 2 to 26 years. This position focuses primarily on classroom consulting with some use of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices, allowing you to utilize your expertise in a collaborative and consultative role. Responsibilities:

* Provide classroom-based consultation to educators and support staff to enhance communication strategies for students * Work directly with students as needed, using AAC methods to support communication development * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized communication plans * Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies accordingly * Participate in scheduled meetings and professional development opportunities related to student services

Schedule and Duration:

* Contract role covering a maternity leave from now through June 17 * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM * Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (due to scheduled meetings) * Position located in Ann Arbor, MI with no virtual work options at this time

Qualifications:

* Valid Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist * Experience working with a diverse age range in educational settings, preferably ages 2 to 26 years * Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies is preferred * Strong consultative skills with the ability to collaborate in classroom environments * Effective communication and documentation skills
