Required Skills: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Valid state medical license and DEA certification Proven experience in emergency medicine Ability to handle high patient volumes with efficiency and compassion Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, both day and night, in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience working in a community hospital setting Familiarity with Meditech EMR system BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Experience with transfer coordination and multi-disciplinary collaboration

Preferred Education and Experience: Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine Minimum of 5+ years of emergency medicine practice Prior locum or hospital-based experience preferred, but not mandatory

Other Requirements: Availability to work at least 5 shifts per month consistently for a minimum of 12 months Credentialing process takes approximately 60+ days Must adhere to hospital policies regarding documentation and conduct All travel arrangements should be managed through OVP No overtime pay; standard hourly rate applicable

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $273.00
