Quality Assurance Manager

John Prosock Machine is a job shop that manufactures parts that go into products for a variety of manufacturing industries and companies domestically abroad.

Our Quality Assurance Manager is a valuable part in ensuring the integrity of those parts with their knowledge of all manufacturing requirements requested by our clients stated on the engineering blueprints used to manufacture these parts from our clients dimensionally and visually.

Candidate should have interpersonal communication skills with all positions within our company and our client’s assurance representatives to achieve quality assurance for our clients. Candidate will be communicating with our dedicated machine operators about sampling and quality measurement requirements and solutions on how to ensure those measurements are met. Candidate will be calibrating and maintaining records of employee and company tools such as veneers and micrometers and gauges used in measurement process.

Candidate will be managing all aspects of our Quality Assurance Department from knowledge of industry standards, materials to calibration requirements, records and use of inspection equipment.

Candidate must be able to read interpret and measure all dimensions, symbols, and mills pec requirements called out for on blueprints. Must have a thorough knowledge of ISOrequirements and processes. Must be able to use a CMM Proficiently Must be able to use a Keyence Instant Measurement Must be able to use a comparator Must be able to calibrate employee & shop tools used in measuring dimensions during the manufacturing process and maintain accurate records. Knowledgeable of Word and Excel. Must be able to do reverse engineering of samples provided.

Compensation commensurate on abilities.
