IT PMO Project Manager (Las Vegas)

Position Overview A global Casino Operator headquartered in Las Vegas is seeking a seasoned IT PMO Project Manager to support complex hospitality technology initiatives, specifically a migration from on-prem to cloud across multiple properties globally. This role requires a true IT PMO background with strong waterfall delivery experience, vendor accountability, and the ability to operate both strategically and in the weeds. The environment is highly collaborative, fast‑paced, and currently undergoing major infrastructure and system transformations.

Must Haves Proven IT PMO Project Manager experience Prior experience working within strict PMO governance models Background working in large enterprise or hospitality environments Strong waterfall methodology delivery background Experience managing external vendors and holding them accountable Ability to be both hands‑on and strategic Experience managing complex budgets across multiple funding sources Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working in high‑pressure, high‑visibility environments Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure project success

Plusses Experience with Oracle, Opera Cloud or hospitality systems Experience supporting on‑prem to cloud migrations

Key Responsibilities and Day to Day: Project & Program Management Lead IT initiatives using a waterfall methodology, coordinating timelines, scope, dependencies, and deliverables Manage projects involving hospitality systems, including Opera Cloud and related workflows Drive execution while maintaining alignment with PMO standards and governance Vendor Management & Accountability Manage external vendors, ensuring accountability to timelines, deliverables, and communication expectations Navigate challenges with vendors who operate strictly in waterfall environments Act as the bridge between internal teams and third‑party partner Infrastructure & Transformation Initiatives Support large‑scale efforts including on‑prem server environments migrating to the cloud Manage complex, high‑visibility initiatives with significant operational impact Budget & Financial Management Own and track complex project budgets with multiple funding sources Ensure accurate forecasting, spend tracking, and financial transparency Stakeholder Collaboration Facilitate collaboration across IT, business partners, vendors, and leadership Communicate effectively across different points of view with a diplomatic, adaptable approach Present updates clearly to senior stakeholders
