Investment Compliance Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Compliance Analyst opportunity with a highly regarded investment management firm based in Boston, MA. This role sits within the firm’s Compliance team and focuses on supporting the ongoing administration, oversight, and continuous improvement of the Code of Ethics program. The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of experience in financial services operations or compliance, demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, and have a clear interest in leveraging technology to enhance processes and efficiency.
This is a
6+ month contract position
paying between
$30
-
40/hour
(depending on experience).
This role supports a hybrid
work model, consisting of 4 days on-site per week
, 1 day remote.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding the firm’s Code of Ethics policies, including personal investing, gifts and entertainment, outside activities, and political contributions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across several different compliance teams in order to drive outcomes.
• Support operational, system, and data-driven elements of the Code of Ethics program, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and leverage technology.
• Develop and deliver regulatory and policy-related training to the business.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations.
• Serve as a point of communication for offshore compliance colleagues.
• Assist with additional legal, compliance, and risk group initiatives as needed.
• Create, document, and maintain operational procedures.
• Provide additional support as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required (finance, business, or related field preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in financial services operations, compliance, regulatory, or business controls environments.
• Prior Code of Ethics experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, exercise judgment, and work under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and influence outcomes through clear, well-defined guidance.
• Enthusiasm for using technology to solve problems and improve processes.
• Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate regulatory and policy information to stakeholders.
• Global mindset and experience working with international teams preferred.
• Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI; experience with other process automation tools is a plus.
