Heavy Equipment and Truck Mechanic ,

We are looking to hire an experienced construction and heavy truck mechanic.

We are a Hyundai Construction Equipment dealership, Brandon Dump Bodies, Winston and Cross Country Trailers, ASV skid steers, and Autocar Trucks. We also do general repairs on class 8 trucks and trailers. Mechanics with Cummins certifications, Allison transmission training and inspection license a plus. Must have own tools. Clean driving record.

Summary

As a Heavy Equipment, Tractor and Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy machinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your core skills in automotive diagnostics, brake repair, and welding will be essential in ensuring optimal vehicle performance. You will also utilize your mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools to perform maintenance tasks. Your premium skills in working with equipment such as excavators, loaders, and trucks combined with relevant experience in customer service and automotive repair, will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our fleet.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks, focusing on brake systems, transmissions, and hydraulics. Utilize hand tools and equipment to conduct routine maintenance and service tasks. Collaborate with customers to address service needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Stay updated on automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
