Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist experienced in echocardiography with at least 1 year of specialty experience and current RCS, RDCS, or ARDCS plus BLS certification. Responsibilities Work in a Cardiac Noninvasive Lab Performs echocardiograms with and without Definity, treadmill and dobutamine stress echoes, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Adult patient population Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Rotating weekend call with 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM shifts on some weekends, minimum 10 days of call per month Holiday coverage assigned as needed upon arrival May occasionally float to outpatient center within the hospital Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required Must be able to perform a range of echocardiographic procedures, including with and without Definity, treadmill and dobutamine stress echoes, and TEEs Five-day orientation with biweekly start dates Red scrubs required COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position Assignment length is 13 weeks Holiday coverage is a requirement and will be assigned as needed Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography Current RCS, RDCS, or ARDCS certification required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Epic EMR experience required Prior travel experience preferred but not required License required if applicable Not accepting candidates who live within a 100 mile radius Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-672947.
