Travel Medical Technologist MT ASCP Red Lake Minnesota Indian Health Service Contract Compensation • 25 per hour taxable base rate • 40 hours guaranteed per week • 1,000 weekly taxable wages • 500 weekly travel allowance • 1,246 weekly per diem • 2,246 total weekly gross Schedule • Full time assignment • 40 hours per week • Rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Contract Details • Federal contract with the Indian Health Service • Base year with option years • Long term assignment opportunity Position Responsibilities • Perform laboratory testing in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and serology • Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation • Perform quality control and proficiency testing procedures • Accurately document and report laboratory results • Support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department services Qualifications • Current ASCP certification required • Active BLS certification required • Minimum one year of recent hospital or clinical laboratory experience • Strong technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Benefits • Competitive weekly compensation package • Travel allowance provided • Weekly per diem support • Consistent 40 hour schedule • Opportunity to serve a rural community through a federal healthcare system Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume for prompt consideration.
